Lake Cache Enhancements

Lake Cache in Autonomous AI Database includes the following enhancements:

• Policy-based Lake Caches support selective column caching, allowing you to cache only a subset of columns from an external table.
• Both policy-based and Auto Lake Caches support database resource consumer groups for cache operations.
• Support for external tables created on CSV files has been added alongside Parquet, ORC, AVRO, and Iceberg formats for both partitioned and non-partitioned external tables.
