Disable Hosts for the Service

If you no longer want a host covered by Ops Insights capacity planning functionality, you need to disable the enabled host for Ops Insights

To disable a database for Ops Insights, log in to OCI and do the following:

1. Open the navigation menu, click Observability & Management, and then click Ops Insights.
2. In the left pane, click Administration, and then click Host fleet.

   The Host fleet administration page displays.

3. Select the Compartment that contains the host that you want to disable for Ops Insights. Optionally, use Search and Filter to filter the returned results, for example, by Ops Insights state.

   Ops Insights state indicates whether a host is currently enabled or disabled.

4. Select one or more hosts to disable.
5. From the Actions menu for the hosts, select Disable Ops Insights. Ops Insights asks whether you want to disable the selected host.
6. Click Disable. The disable request is submitted for processing.
